After the recent launch of Super Smash Bros. for 3DS, Nintendo have confirmed that the Wii U version will launch on November 21 in North America, and December 5 in Europe, for $59.99.

The first wave of Nintendo's amiibo figurines - Mario, Peach, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Link, Fox, Samus, Wii Fit Trainer, Villager, Pikachu, Kirby, and Marth - will launch on Nov. 21 in North America and Nov. 28 in Europe. These figures will be compatible with many games, starting with Smash Bros. Wii U. Wave 2 - Zelda, Diddy Kong, Luigi, Little Mac, Pit, and Captain Falcon - launches on Dec. 19 in Europe and sometime in December in North America. All Amiibo figures will be available for $12.99 each.

Fans who grew up with Melee and the GameCube controller are probably pleased to know that they can use the controller with this upcoming Wii U game. In North America, a bundle with the game, a GameCube controller, and an adapter that lets it work on Wii U will launch for $99.99. In Europe, the bundle will not include the controller. The adapter and controller will also be available to buy separately for $19.99 and $29.99.

All these dates aside, Nintendo have uploaded a new trailer as well! Take a look:
