E3 2014 is over, and Nintendo delivered once again which lots of announcements and new game reveals - including Yoshi's Woolly World! The super cute new game stars our favourite green dino and launches in the first half of 2015. Two key developers talked about the game in the Nintendo Digital Event (which you can watch here), and it looks like it has gone far from what was shown in early 2013.

On Day 1 of E3, Nintendo started things off with the Nintendo Digital Event, revealing a lot of new information to fans in a live digital broadcast, which we posted about live on Facebook and Twitter! Some of the news included a new game called Splatoon, Nintendo's new amiibo figurines, details and footage of the new The Legend of Zelda, and Palutena and Mii Fighters being playable in Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U. Later that day the Nintendo Treehouse streamed game demos live from the E3 show floor, with guest appearances from Shigeru Miyamoto, Reggie Fils-Aime, and other developers.

In the evening, Nintendo hosted the super exciting Super Smash Bros. Invitational, the very first tournament for Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. 16 of the best Smash players in the world were invited, and ZeRo ended up the champion, playing with Zero Suit Samus! There were also matches between the crowd's fan-favourite picks, and special guests such as Zelda Williams taking part in the action.

On Days 2 and 3, the Nintendo Treehouse continued streaming even more game demos from the show floor, and talked to more developers. As well as that, two developer roundtables - one for Smash Bros. 3DS/Wii U and one for a new game, Code Name S.T.E.A.M - were held during E3, and even more news about those was announced - including Pac-Man being playable in Smash Bros.!

Watch the Nintendo Digital Event below if you missed it, and be sure to check out Nintendo's official YouTube channel here for plenty of E3 2014 videos, some of which weren't included in the Digital Event!

I certainly enjoyed the event, and I would even say it's Nintendo's best E3 yet! Tweet to us with your highlights of the event! Was it Yoshi's Woolly World?

And finally, here are the three Nintendo press releases from E3 2014, with all the Nintendo announcements from the event.
